How the summer reading club  works: 

You’ll receive a Reading Time Log to record the books you read this summer.  Bring your reading log in to the library and pick up a prize for every two hours you spend reading (up to 10 hours)  during the summer.

Everyone who returns their Reading Time Log will receive  bookmarks, a certificate of completion, food coupons and a paperback book!

The library welcomes children of all abilities.

 

 
June (for all ages)

  • Wednesday - June 4 @ 1:30 p.m. - Movie Day
  • Wednesday - June 16 @ 3:30 p.m. - Missouri Department of Conservation
  • Monday - June 16 @ 3:30 p.m. - Ollie & the De Priest Puppets
  • Wednesday - June 25 @ 3:00 p.m. - Ms. Bernice


July (for all ages)

  • Tuesday - July 1 @ 2:00 p.m. - "Bug Bites" presented by Southeast Missouri Hospital
  • Wednesday - July 9 @ 1:30 p.m. - Bee Movie
  • Tuesday - July 16 @ 1:30 p.m. - Bumblebees, Ladybugs & Me
