Jackson Branch of Riverside Regional Library.

The Friends are a not-for-profit group of
volunteers who promote the public library through
fund-raisers. Money earned goes for programs, equipment,
books, videos, furniture, or other things the library needs
and can't afford to purchase. Being a Friend is a great way
to meet other people who are interested in books and the
library, to bring public attention to all the materials and
services the library has to offer, to encourage and receive
gifts, endowments and bequests to the library, and to raise
funds to provide special programs for kids, teens, adults,
and seniors at the library.
If you are not yet a member of the Jackson Friends
at the Riverside Regional Library, why not join? Help us
make our library GREAT!!!
The other branches of the Riverside Regional
Library have organized or are working on plans to organize
Friends groups. We look forward to working with them. However,
remember that the money the Jackson Friends make will still be
used at the Jackson Branch.
Don’t forget that the library often has need
of volunteers to help with extra jobs around the library. Some
may be short-term but others can be ongoing. Just ask one of the
librarians for more information.
