  • Library Skills Institute Recognition Program:  The State Library began a certificate program for library staff members across the state who complete part or all of the Library Skills Institute curriculum to receive a Certificate of Excellence.  

  • Winter Library Skills Institute, presented by State Library, Columbia. Feb. 7-10  Attended by  Kathy Schlimpert (Adult Services) and Bernice Kern (Reference Services). 

  • Summer Library Skills Institute, presented by State Library, Columbia, August 8-11.  Attended by Shirlene Schafer and Terri Kauffman (Basic Course),  Barbara Arnzen, Julie Sauer, Novena Bollinger (Library Administration & Management), and Ginny Robert (Young Adult Services).

  • MLA Legislative Day, Jefferson City, Feb. 7.  Ginny Robert and Lynn Farrow met with our state representatives.
