Riverside Regional Library

• • TG Missouri donated $3,000 to the Perryville Branch.

   

  • The Altenburg Branch was given a $250 donation from the Altenburg Athletic Association to be used for their Summer Reading Program, sport backpacks from the local bank, and monetary donations from the Brazeau Extension Club and a $200 donation from the Altenburg Lions Club.

   

  • Riverside at Jackson received a $200 donation from Noon Optimist Club of Jackson on June 4 to purchase Mark Twain Award books on CD

   

  • Friends of Riverside @ Jackson received a $600 donation from the Evening Optimist Club of Jackson in June to be used towards children’s programs.

   

  • The Scott County Women in Ag made a monetary donation to the Friends of the Library @ Benton.

   

  • Many thoughtful patrons donated funds to purchase books in memory or in honor of their friends and loved ones.  Our sincerest appreciation to these lovely people. 

   

  • ·        Patrons have contributed to the library’s funds by being faithful customers of our on-going book sales.

   

  • Area businesses, organizations, and individuals donated cash, prizes or time to our Summer Reading Club. A $40 donation was received from Wal-Mart to help provide incentives for reading at the Scott City Branch.

   

  • A patron of the Oran Branch has donated plants and landscaping there for several years, making the yard beautiful.

   

  • The Friends of the Library groups at Perryville, Jackson, Oran, Scott City, and Benton donated so much—time, money, programs--to these libraries!

   

  • Several loyal patrons donate magazine subscriptions every year.
