  •         TLC automation software sends automatic e-mail notifications to patrons for arrived holds and overdue notices.

·        Accounting software: QuickBooks.

  • We (and the branches) are now requiring that anyone wanting to use the public computers must have a library card.  Perryville has been doing this for years.  It’s a good practice, gives a more accurate count for statistical reports, and cuts down on people using phony names when they sign up.  We have visitors’ cards for those just passing through town who want to check their email.

  • The Jackson Fire Department came to the new library on Wednesday, April 1, to demonstrate to the staff  fire safety techniques.
