TLC (The Library Corporation) automation software continues to be
used for circulation, cataloging, and reports.Upgrade to newer version was done in January.
In March patrons began placing holds, renewing books, and accessing
their own library accounts from the library or home using personal
PIN numbers.
TLC automation software began sending automatic e-mail notifications
to patrons for arrived holds and overdue notices.
Accounting software: QuikBooks.
Switched virus protection to F-Protect.

Complete computer network re-build performed by Creative Data of
Cape Girardeau in November-December 2006.New data server and firewall purchased and installed.Domain name changed.All computers and firewalls in the RRL system were
reconfigured. Network is now
working faster and better.
