Branch managers
complete a survey every January denoting the most popular authors at
their libraries, plus the areas of their collections that they want
to emphasize this year.
This annual procedure helps in the book and AV ordering process.
Patrons continue to submit their requests for books they think
should be added to the collection.“Patron Request” forms are available at all the branches.
Weeding of the collections continued throughout the year to make
space for new materials.
A major weeding took place in November when the new shelving was
installed at Central.
